AP Talliki Vandanam Scheme 2026: Funds Release Postponed? Eligibility and Latest Government Guidelines Explained Talliki vandana new update T25
Reports from official circles indicate a potential shift in the release date for the AP Talliki Vandanam Scheme 2026. The cash transfer, which was initially expected to be disbursed alongside a state-wide Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM), faces a brief scheduling adjustment.
Potential Change in Release Date
The Education and IT Minister, Nara Lokesh, had originally indicated that the funds would be directly credited to the bank accounts of mothers during a Mega PTM scheduled for July 16, 17, and 18, 2026.
However, unexpected operational factors have reportedly pushed the Mega PTM back to July 22, 2026. As a result, the distribution of the Talliki Vandanam funds is now highly anticipated to take place on or around July 22 to line up with the new meeting date. Official confirmation regarding the finalized schedule is expected to follow shortly.
Budget Allocation and Student Count
While the previous academic year saw the scheme rolled out alongside the reopening of schools in June, detailed verification of student records has extended the timeline this year.
-
Target Group: Students from Class 1 to Intermediate (Class 12) are covered.
-
Impact Size: The scheme covers roughly 68 lakh eligible students across Andhra Pradesh.
-
Financial Assistance Structure: Each eligible family receives a total of ₹15,000 annually. Out of this amount, ₹2,000 is directly retained for the school maintenance and sanitation fund, leaving a net balance of ₹13,000 to be deposited straight into the mother’s bank account.

Mandatory Actions Required for Beneficiaries
To avoid any transaction failures or delays via the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system, the Andhra Pradesh government has instructed mothers of eligible students to verify three crucial items immediately:
-
Aadhaar Seeding: The mother’s bank account must be actively linked with her Aadhaar Card.
-
NPCI Mapping: The account must be registered with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) clearing system to receive government welfare credits successfully.
-
e-KYC Verification: Beneficiaries must complete their electronic Know Your Customer (e-KYC) verification at their respective bank branches or designated centers.
The final list of eligible beneficiaries will be officially displayed on the notice boards of the local Grama/Ward Sachivalayams soon. Completing these banking requirements ahead of time ensures that the ₹13,000 financial credit transfers seamlessly once disbursed
