Vacancy details and priority
Punjab National Bank is filling a total of 545 Local Bank Officer posts through this notification. These posts will be allotted on the basis of local languages in various states. Since the duties of a Local Bank Officer will be performed, it is mandatory to have local language to communicate easily with customers. Telugu candidates will have the opportunity to get postings in PNB branches in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who wish to apply for these jobs must have the following educational qualifications and age limit.
1. Educational Qualification
- The candidate should have completed a degree in any discipline from any university or institution recognized by the Government of India or UGC/AICTE .
- Anyone who has passed a degree can apply for these posts.
- Local Language Proficiency: Candidates should be able to read, write and speak Telugu, the local language, clearly. A Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT) will be conducted as part of the selection process.

Salary Structure
Candidates selected for the post of Local Bank Officer (LBO) in Punjab National Bank will get attractive salary along with all kinds of additional benefits as per the Central Public Sector Banking norms.
- Basic Pay: Starting from Rs. 48,480/-.
- Maximum Salary: Increases up to Rs. 85,920/- including seniority and allowances.
- Additional Allowances: Along with basic pay, you will get Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), City Compensatory Allowance (CCA), Medical Allowance and Travel Allowance. All of this adds up to a good salary right from the start.

Selection Process

- Online Written Examination: The candidates who have applied will first be given a computer-based online examination. It will include questions on subjects like Aptitude, Reasoning, English, and Banking Awareness.
